Direct debit is our default payment method, so most members will have their payments come out of their account automatically.
If you’d rather make a one-off credit card payment or pay in advance by card, you can do this on the Peoplecare mobile app, or in Online Member Services.
- Open the app or Online Member Services
- Choose ‘Make a Payment’ from the main menu

- Click ‘Membership’ on the main menu
- Choose ‘Membership details’. This screen will show you your Paid To date.

You can change or upgrade your cover any time you like, just call us on 1800 808 690.

If you’re upgrading your cover, you will have waiting periods for services you weren’t covered for before.

- Click on ‘Payment details’ to change your direct debit details
- Click on ‘Benefit account’ to change the bank account that your benefits are paid into

- Follow the prompts and your new Peoplecare card will be sent to you

- Choose ‘Contact details’. This screen will show you your current address and allow you to change it.

- Choose ‘Contact details’. This screen will allow you to add an email address which will then become your default.

In some other forms of insurance you might call this a PDS but in health insurance, cover description is the name. Find yours in the Peoplecare mobile app.

- Select ‘View cover description’

On the Peoplecare mobile app:
- Open the Peoplecare mobile app
- Click ‘Settings’ on the main menu
- Choose ‘Forgot password’. This will send you an SMS to your mobile phone to reset your password.
If you have forgotten your password you can open the Peoplecare mobile app and click 'Forgotten password' on the log in screen, then follow the prompts to reset it.
In Online Member Services:
- Go to the log in screen
- Click 'Forgotten password?'
- Follow the prompts to reset your password
