Peoplecare announced as an Inclusive Employer
We are proud to share some exciting news!
A couple of months ago, Peoplecare employees participated in the Inclusive Employer Index Survey facilitated by the Diversity Council Australia (DCA). This survey enabled Peoplecare to collate and benchmark our diversity demographics, how inclusive we are, and the impact of our inclusion efforts. The results are benchmarked against industry standards, DCA members, and the broader Australian workforce.
Based on the information provided, Peoplecare have met the DCA’s assessment criteria and have been officially recognised as a 2024-2025 Inclusive Employer! An inclusive organisation is one in which employees trust they will be treated fairly and feel diversity is valued and respected. This recognition is a testament to the work our employees have contributed to making Peoplecare a place where everyone can thrive, no matter who they are.
Our teams reflect the rich diversity of the community we serve, boasting:
- A strong female workforce
- 14.5% identifying as persons with disabilities
- Over 10% identifying as LGBTIQ+
Of this notable achievement, CEO Louise Leaver says;
“At Peoplecare, we are proud to receive this recognition as inclusive employer. This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered. Diversity and inclusion are central to our culture, driving innovation and growing our organisation. We remain dedicated to creating an environment that all employees can thrive in, and we will continue working and evolving to ensure Peoplecare is a place where everyone has the opportunity to succeed”.
